Products Description

Grey Cloud marble is mainly quarried in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, especially in Hezhou, Wuzhou and other stone industry concentration areas. Guangxi is rich in a variety of high-quality marbles due to its unique geological conditions, and Cloud Grey is one of the popular mid-to-high-end varieties.

(Note: Some marbles with similar tones are also produced in Spain and Turkey, but the "Cloud Grey" circulated in the Chinese market usually refers to Guangxi materials.)

Tones and textures

Basic color: light gray to medium gray tone, with a soft cloud-like smudge effect, rich layers without being messy.
Texture: Natural streamlined texture, some panels are interspersed with white or dark gray fine lines, and the overall style is simple and modern.

Physical properties

High hardness of Grey Cloud marble: Mohs hardness is about 3-4, wear resistance is better than limestone, suitable for medium and low traffic areas such as walls and floors.
Moderate density: low water absorption (<0.5%), good anti-fouling after protective treatment.

Processing and maintenance

Easy to process: It can be cut into thin plates (12-20mm), countertops or special shapes, but attention should be paid to the brittleness of natural marble.
Maintenance suggestions: Use marble-specific protective agents regularly to avoid erosion by acidic detergents.
