Dark Grey Emperador marble (also known as Dark Emperador) is mainly quarried in Alicante and Murcia, Spain. It is a high-end variety in the Emperador marble family. Its name "Emperador" (Spanish for "Emperor") implies its noble temperament. It is often used in European palace buildings and has become one of the preferred stones for luxury homes and hotels around the world.
