Products Description
Dark Grey Kerb Stones are made from dense natural granite with a deep grey tone, offering both structural strength and modern aesthetics. Their darker color creates a strong visual edge for roads, pathways, and landscaping areas, making them ideal for large-scale infrastructure and commercial projects that demand both performance and design value.
The robust granite composition ensures they withstand high traffic, harsh climates, and long-term wear, while maintaining their clean appearance for decades.

How to Install corner kerb stones

1. Site Preparation
Define and mark the curb line according to the construction drawings.
Excavate a trench wide and deep enough to accommodate the kerb stones plus the concrete base.
Level and compact the subsoil to provide a stable foundation.
2. Laying the Concrete Base
Place a 100–150 mm thick layer of lean concrete (C15 or similar) as the foundation.
Level and smooth the base surface while the concrete is still wet.
Ensure the base has a slight slope to support drainage if needed.
3. Positioning the Kerb Stones
Place each Dark Grey Kerb Stone on the wet concrete base.
Use a rubber mallet to tap the stone gently into position.
Align the stones vertically and horizontally using a string line or laser level.
Keep a consistent joint gap (5–10 mm) between stones for mortar filling.
4. Joint Sealing
Fill the joints with cement mortar or a dry sand-cement mix.
Compact and smooth the joints to avoid gaps or water ingress.
For long road sections, add expansion joints at regular intervals.
5. Backfilling and Haunching
Place concrete haunching behind the kerb stones to lock them in place.
The haunching should rise at least halfway up the back of the kerb stones.
Compact backfill soil or gravel around the haunching once cured.
6. Curing and Finishing
Allow at least 24–48 hours for the concrete to cure before exposing to traffic or heavy loads.
Clean off any cement stains from the kerb surfaces.
Re-check line, level, and alignment for final acceptance.
