The mining and processing process of granite can be roughly divided into the following main steps, which are briefly as follows:

1. Mining stage
Exploration and site selection
Determine the location, reserves and quality of the granite ore body through geological survey, and select a mining area suitable for mining.

Stripping the surface
Use an excavator or blasting to remove the soil and weathering layer covering the granite to expose the quarryable stone.

Cutting and block division
Use diamond wire saw, flame cutting or chain arm saw to cut the granite ore body to separate regular large blocks of rough stone (rough stone).

Rough material transportation
Load the mined rough stone with a crane and transport it to the processing plant by truck.

2. Processing stage
Rough processing (sawing)
Use a large multi-blade saw or circular saw to cut the rough stone into plates of different specifications, such as large plates, thin plates, etc.

Surface treatment
Different surface treatments are performed according to the purpose, such as:

Polishing (glossy surface)

Flaming (rough and non-slip)

Special processes such as litchi surface, sandblasting surface, water-washing surface, etc.

Cutting to size
According to customer needs, large slabs are cut into finished products of specific sizes, such as floor tiles, countertops, wall panels, etc.

Edge trimming and chamfering
Trimming edges, chamfering and grinding to improve beauty and installation effect.

Quality inspection and packaging
Check the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the finished products, and rework or remove those with problems. Qualified products are classified and packaged for shipment.

3. Shipping and transportation
Pack the packaged granite slabs into containers or trucks and transport them to the customer's designated location or export them overseas.
