Verde Alpi Marble Slab is one of the most famous green marbles in Italy, mined in the Alps (mainly in Piedmont in northern Italy). It has a deep green base and a striking white or light green mesh texture.

 

Basic characteristics

 

Color: dark green or dark green base with white, light green or grayish white irregular mesh texture, similar to "cracking" or "lightning pattern".

 

Texture: It belongs to serpentinized marble, with high hardness (Mohs hardness about 4-5), and excellent gloss after polishing.

 

Mineral composition: mainly contains serpentine, calcite and a small amount of metal minerals (such as chromium and iron), giving it a unique green color.
